Ourson Lessons
3 and 4 year olds with their Garolou continue learning to ski with our Ourson lessons.

Accompanied by an esf Pralognan instructor, a specialist in early childhood education, your little one will progress while having fun with their friends on the slopes, in complete safety.

They'll start with a gentle warm-up in the kindergarten, before setting off to discover the slopes and make their debut in the big leagues!

Please bring a snack for your child for a comfort break.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I equip my child?
Equipment is not included in the price of the course, so remember to bring it with you before the first lesson.
Advice: Shoes in the correct size with only 1 pair of socks. Trust the professionals for the adjustments. Helmets are compulsory.
Does my child need a ski pass?
A free ski pass is available for children under 5. Simply go to the lift ticket office and show proof of your child's age to collect it. You will, however, need to purchase the support or bring a magnetic support if you already have one.
How should I dress my child
- Warm, comfortable, waterproof jacket, salopettes or overalls.
- Mittens rather than finger gloves.
- Mask or sunglasses (attached with a cord).
- UV protection factor 3 minimum.
What if my child gets tired or cold?
They'll enjoy their little snack break! This is the time for young children to rest and regain their strength, so that skiing remains a pleasure. Don't forget to slip a little snack into your child's pocket (a drinkable compote or yoghurt).
Can we attend our child's lessons?
Stay "hidden" behind a slalom pole to watch your child: it's only human, but your little one will spot you quicker than you think, and that will likely make them cry or take away from them their will to ski and have fun with their new friends! Instead, ask for a short review at the end of the session. We have your telephone number (to give to our hostesses) and in the event of a problem or major grief we will contact you quickly.
What if my child cries on the first day?
Some children will be more active than others, so don't worry if you see your child waiting on the side for a while, they can't always be in action; the instructors will take care of them and gently encourage them to return to the group. The professionals have enough experience to recognise the tears of separation linked to fear of the unknown. They will do everything they can to reassure and distract your little ones. Dialogue with parents is essential.
Will my child get a medal?
Friday is the big day, and each child will be presented with a medal by the instructors to end the week with a moment of conviviality. If you have chosen the 5 or 6-day consecutive course option, the medal is included in the price. If the student does not pass the level prepared, a medal in the process of being acquired will be awarded.
