I've never skied

Children aged 5 to 12 can experience their first thrills on the slopes in complete safety when they join our beginners' lessons.

Supervised by friendly instructors, your children will learn to ski at their own pace and have fun with their friends on the slopes.

so I register as a Beginner!
Our esf Pralognan instructors welcome children who have never put on skis before to discover the joys of skiing thanks to Beginner lessons!

In a positive and fun atmosphere, your children will progress at their own pace and gain confidence in their technique so they can have fun on the slopes in complete safety.

Encouraged by their friends, they'll be able to overcome their fears and enjoy new skiing sensations under the watchful eye of their instructor.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I equip my child?
Equipment is not included in the price of the course, so remember to bring it with you before the first lesson.
Advice: Shoes in the correct size with only 1 pair of socks. Trust the professionals for the adjustments. Helmets are compulsory.
Is insurance included?
No, no insurance is included in the price of the lessons. We strongly recommend that you check your current insurance cover and take out Carré Neige Insurance.
Does my child need a ski pass?
A special Flocon ski pass is available for children aged 5 and over enrolled in the Flocon programme.
This special "Flocon" ski pass is available on presentation of proof of current enrolment at the lift ticket office or when booking online (optional) with the lessons.
Will my child get a medal?
Friday is the big day, and each child will be presented with a medal by the instructors to end the week with a moment of conviviality. If you have chosen the 5 or 6-day consecutive course option, the medal is included in the price. If the student does not pass the level prepared, a medal in the process of being acquired will be awarded.
How should I dress my child?
- Warm, comfortable, waterproof jacket, salopettes or overalls.
- Mittens rather than finger gloves.
- Mask or sunglasses (attached with a cord).
- UV protection factor 3 minimum.
What if my child gets tired or cold?
They'll enjoy their little snack break! This is the time for young children to rest and regain their strength, so that skiing remains a pleasure. Don't forget to slip a little snack into your child's pocket (a drinkable compote or yoghurt).
Does my child need to bring snacks?
Children can keep a cereal bar or drinkable compote in their pockets in case they get hungry, especially if the weather is bad.
